Leadership Group Announces Donation to 3 Local Charities
The Leadership Group (LG), a group dedicated to the advancement and professional development of executives, has announced a donation to the American Diabetes Association, Diabetes Scholars Foundation, and JDRF Illinois at its third quarter networking event held on Thursday, October 5, 2017.
Ambassadors for all three charities were presented checks totaling $37,500.00. The gifts are the result of the LG’s 5th annual charity golf outing held on July at The Bridges of Poplar Creek Hoffman Estates, IL.
John Liacone, Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Overture Group and LG Founder said “The LG exists to give support, advice, and counsel to its members and in turn, we are happy to give back and pay it forward to the community.” Kyle, a youth JDRF ambassador living with Type 1 diabetes said the LG team was “the most inspiring group he’s come across in his work with JDRF.”
